SENA

Where Beauty Meets Adventure
SENA is more than a resortwear label — it is a feeling.
A feeling of freedom, color, and the magic of the world’s most beautiful places.
Founded in 2012/2013 in Berlin by fashion entrepreneur Assja Dimitrova, SENA was born from a deep love for the sea, the colors, the sun, and the effortless elegance of an endless summer. What began as a personal vision has evolved into an international brand that accompanies women across the globe.
But SENA carries something even more intimate: its name.
"Sena" was Assja’s nickname in her homeland — a tender connection to her roots and a tribute to her beloved grandfather, Asen, whose name she carries.
By choosing this name, she infused the brand with her heritage, her family’s spirit, and the warmth of where her story began.
SENA is not just a label — it is a legacy.
SENA stands for luxury in lightness: vibrant kaftans, luminous kimonos, and refined dresses crafted from precious, noble silk. Every piece is created with intention and care, carrying the spirit of a brand that wants beauty not only to be seen — but to be felt.
Our designs tell stories: Stories of journeys through more than 50 countries, of sunsets on faraway shores, of cultures rich in color, and of the freedom found in every adventure.
Made by adventurous, beautiful women for adventurous, beautiful women!
OUR PRODUCTs
All our products are individual unique pieces handmade in GERMANY, SPAIN & BULGARIA.
The fabrics so-called Crepe de Chine was conceived in Lyon in 1820, as an imperfect imitation of Chinese silk fabric.
Crepe or crepe is a lightweight, testurized fabric with a beautiful drape and fold. This luxurious silk has the additional virtue of great durability and excellent wrinkle resistance.
Lightweight, soft fabric made by twisting a few fibers in opposite directions, it is woven on a flat weaving loom. The twisted fibers give it the characteristic crepe (roughness and shiny luster on both sides). This type of silk absorbs a large amount of dye and therefore confers a great richness and depth to the colors.
It is undoubtedly one of the most versatile silk fabrics, it can be used to make all kinds of garments and accessories and is suitable for both casual and formal styles.
